Droplet – Free Custom WordPress Theme

Posted by on May 14, 2012

I’ve released Droplet 2.0. It’s cleaner and all around better. That being said, I will no longer be offering support on this version of Droplet.

Click here to check it out.

I’m pretty excited to introduce Droplet – a clean and simple, blog-centered custom WordPress theme that will give you a new reason to start blogging again.

I’ve been working on this project, on and off, for the past few months and I’m feeling good about releasing it to the public. It’s geared toward the blogger but is versatile enough to be used for pretty much any application. The blog post pages are clean and attractive. It’s documented well and is quite easy to implement.

If you decide to download and use the theme, please feel free to mention it in the comments section below. Also, if you have any questions or concerns about the theme or need help solving issues, please feel free to leave a comment below.

I’d like to thank Pete Schwager for some much needed help on coding a few important pieces of Droplet, as well as Florin Gorgan for allowing me to use his incredible Rainbow Wallpaper as part of the design.

Please note that, although this theme is offered for free, it is not to be sold or distributed in any form or fashion without the written approval of the creator (Bo Lane). Additionally, if you need assistance customizing this theme, I am available to assist you. Please contact me for more information.
